<pansysk75[m]> Say I wanted to test the scaling of a parallel algorithm: Are there ways to emulate how it would perform on a system that has 64 or more cores, when your poor computer only has 8 or 16?
<pansysk75[m]> In university, we remoted to a lab computer, but there has to be something more elegant for development purposes :P

<gonidelis[m]> pansysk75: we do have an hpc cluster that we use for the publishable results. you can obtain initial measurements on your local pc nevertheless
<gonidelis[m]> hkaiser: yt?
