the access pattern is then always the default, but that is something that could if needed be passed through the policy
<hkaiser>
ms[m]: give me a sec, I'm in meeting
<ms[m]>
Kokkos::MDRangePolicy still has a third tile parameter which doesn't really fit in this scheme but it's not completely unthinkable that that couldn't work as an extra parameter to for_loop
<ms[m]>
hkaiser: yeah, np, wasn't expecting a reply, just dropping random links for you to look at later ;)
<hkaiser>
ms[m]: I found Daisie's answer to be slightly dismissing (well, it's Daisie after all)
<hkaiser>
the code example looks good, I'd guess that something similar could be done for the range-based version as well

hkaiser: yeah, if you're referring to a hpx::ranges::for_loop we can indeed add some simple wrapper type for that, which is MDRangePolicy minus all the extras
<ms[m]>
same for for_each for that matter
<hkaiser>
yes
<gonidelis[m]>
hkaiser: is everything ok in your area?
<hkaiser>
gonidelis[m]: just no power, currently, otherwise things are fine for us
<hkaiser>
thanks for asking
<gonidelis[m]>

Do we know whether there is any ste||ar group - lsu entity in linked in?
<hkaiser>
gonidelis[m]: don't think so
<hkaiser>
nobody has bothered to create an maintain one
<gonidelis[m]>
cool
<hkaiser>
I'd present it as something bigger than just LSU, though
<gonidelis[m]>
then I should just stick with the gsoc interniship then... but since the involvement shall continue I am just wondering how could I refer to my open source contribution to hpx
<gnikunj[m]>
freenode_gonidelis[m]: I simply write STE||AR GROUP in my linkedin
