nikunj (IRC): next week as soon as I get all (relevant) PRs merged and some quirks sorted out
<jayeshbadwaik>
Not really. But I also thihnk this is not relevant. So, currently, the issue is that hwloc does not build with vcpkg on linux, and hence hpx cannot build. So, I am looking at how vcpkg builds hwloc and the issue seems to be the following:
<jayeshbadwaik>
vcpkg uses hand-crafted CMakeLists for hwloc and this file is explicitly written for Windows
<simbergm>
OK, good

hkaiser: what's up?
<jayeshbadwaik>
I'm not sure how interested are the members here to make hwloc and hence subsequently hpx compile for vcpkg. But in case they are, I have created an issue with some partial solutions to compile hwloc on linux here: https://github.com/Microsoft/vcpkg/issues/4651
<hkaiser>
heller_: see pm, pls
<hkaiser>
jayeshbadwaik: thanks, I think this is interesting
<hkaiser>
is it our responsibility to make hwloc work with vcpkg?
<jayeshbadwaik>
In my opinion, no. But if someone has some time to do it, then it might be beneficial.
<hkaiser>
jayeshbadwaik: indeed
<hkaiser>
I'm not a linux person, so somebody else will have to do that
