<jedi18[m]> Is there any advantage of using pred_projected here over capturing the projection in the lamda and then calling util::invoke inside the lambda function? https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/blob/edb09d0451fb384de87b09db95b7efa3fd859a00/libs/parallelism/algorithms/include/hpx/parallel/algorithms/adjacent_find.hpp#L190

<jedi18[m]> hkaiser: Regarding that timeline, should I include just till the end of June or the entire gsoc period?
<hkaiser> jedi18[m]: the further out you plan the less accurate the plan will be, I'd suggest trying to lay out the timeline until end of August, but leave room for adjustments, where needed
<jedi18[m]> Oh ok sure

<jedi18[m]> Hi! Could someone please help clear up exactly what why we are adding the sentinel overloads? Sentinel means a last value denoting the end right? So the algorithm considers the first occurence of the sentinel as the end of the container we are iterating through?
<gonidelis[m]> jedi18: sorry for the late response, your statement is correct
<gonidelis[m]> jedi18: c++20 dictates that the type of first could be different from the type of last in a std algo
<gonidelis[m]> that's why we are changing `Iter first, Iter last` -> `Iter first, Sent last`
<gonidelis[m]> it's a more broader case

<harsh> HI
<gonidelis[m]> hi
<harsh> I had a query regarding GSOd
<harsh> Can I ask you?
<harsh> or can you tag Hartmut Kaiser?
<gonidelis[m]> tell me
<gonidelis[m]> hkaiser is not online right now
<harsh> oh that's fine
<harsh> I wished to know whether the Technical Writer hiring process this year completed? If not can I apply for the position by submitting the tasks you ask?
<harsh> Or are there any other open positions, I would love to contribute to the organization?
<gonidelis[m]> harsh: We have already covered the position for GSoD
<harsh> ok I got late by sometime :/
<harsh> No issues
<gonidelis[m]> You could start contributing as an open source contributor to HPX in order to demonstrate your work. Just pick an issue
<harsh> Can I contribute by starting by otherwise as well?
<harsh> Oh ok for sure
<harsh> Do we have Github repo?
<gonidelis[m]> It's open-source. Of course you can contribute.
<gonidelis[m]> yes
<harsh> where could I find that
<gonidelis[m]> on github ;)
<gonidelis[m]> or google
<gonidelis[m]> both work
<harsh> Fine, will look over
<harsh> if somethings excite
<harsh> Thanks
<gonidelis[m]> ;)
