hkaiser: About adding annotations, you were probably refering to sth like this (hpx::scoped_annotation, hpx::annotated_function etc.):
<hkaiser>
one is a function wrapper, the other one needs to be put on the stack and annotates in constructor/removes the annotation in the destructor

gonidelis[m]: if you have the time, all is ready for the rc2, all is missing for you to run the roll_release script - no pressure ;-)
<hkaiser>
gonidelis[m]: well, first you need to pull from the release-1.8.X branch, obviously

hkaiser: I am writing my bachelor thesis using HPX, I was wondering if you could give me a copy of your research "Assessing the Performance Impact of using an Active Global Address Space". I am trying to justify why I want to use an HPX component instead of managing all the complexity by myself. I am sure the definite answer lives in that paper,
<hkaiser>
john98zakaria[m]: absolutely
<hkaiser>
send me an email, so I have your address
