<diehlpk_mobile> simbergm parsa Are you available today to have a look at the gsod applications?
<diehlpk_mobile> We received 6 of them
<diehlpk_mobile> I would prefer to select the application today and get it of my desk
<simbergm> diehlpk_mobile: sorry can't today :/
<simbergm> doesn't look like it'll be too difficult to choose though
<simbergm> if you want to do a call we'd have to do it on monday, but I can try to look through the applications during the weekend
<diehlpk_mobile> simberg, let me check the applications by myself. if I find some interesting one, I will let you know.
<diehlpk_mobile> if not we can select Michael's application
<tarzeau> simbergm: sorry for the spam, hope that's fine?

<simbergm> tarzeau: no problem, saw the email but haven't read it yet
<simbergm> will let you know if I don't want to be cc'd :)

<K-ballo> how many gsod proposals we ended up with after the cleanup?
<parsa> diehlpk_work: yeah, i'll take a read
<parsa> K-ballo: so far 3 of the 6 applicants are clearly unqualified because they have no experience with technical writing
<parsa> why on earth did Google decide a spreadsheet is the easiest format to work with?!
<K-ballo> so they can track who gets access to it?
<parsa> K-ballo: could have been a web page. it would have been easier to read instead of really larger spreadsheets columns
<parsa> simbergm: we have two real proposals. one from michael and one from an English departments student at LSU. i like both proposals and diehlpk_work suggests we ask for a second spot
<parsa> department*

<K-ballo> hkaiser: still planning to attend the cologne meeting?
<hkaiser> yes
<K-ballo> it's likely to get about 200 people
<hkaiser> you too?
<hkaiser> wow
<K-ballo> yes, I'll be there
<hkaiser> nice
<hkaiser> are you in that hotel?
<K-ballo> yep
<hkaiser> K-ballo: would you mind having a look at heller's PR wrt tuple?
<K-ballo> tweaking tuple? scary
<hkaiser> compatibility with std::tuple
<K-ballo> btw there's a high chance I get cv-qualifiers wrong in tuple_cat
<K-ballo> the adding of overloads to namespace std is technically ubish
<hkaiser> nod
<K-ballo> it should not be needed for structured binding support
<K-ballo> oh ok, so there's two separate things, util::get support for std and std::get support for util::tuple
<hkaiser> right
