<Yorlik>
Do you guys build hwloc yourself or just use the prebuilt binaries (on windows)? I am brushing over my build system and realize hwloc on windows is a pain.
<zao>
Which seems to be using some vcpkg-sourced deps, it seems.
<zao>
Personally I'm totally fine with binary downloads from the vendor.
<Yorlik>
I used to build with the experimental /contrib/windows vs solution, but I am now trying to get rid of that and build it with MinGW from my VisualStudio CMake project
<zao>
Small sample size of course, but Rust's hwloc crate also just recommends going for the distro/binary build.
<Yorlik>
We have a weird rule which says: if we can't build it we won'rt use it ;)
<zao>
I have it from good sources that your team is weird :P
<bibek>
hkaiser: The direct actions paper got accepted :D

there's an issue with the numa allocator test which we can ignore for now
<simbergm>
we could disable it but there's not much point in that
