simbergm: I installed quickbook by 'sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev' but in the process BOOSTAUTOINDEX_ROOT is unavailable
<Anushi1998>
So I tried this 'cmake -DBOOST_ROOT=/home/anushi/boost -DHWLOC_ROOT=/usr/include/hwloc -DBOOSTAUTOINDEX_ROOT=/home/anushi/boost/tools/auto_index/build /home/anushi/HPX/hpx'
<Anushi1998>
But it is also not working :( What could be the possible reason?

simbergm: just fyi - my windows machine rebooted last night and so the pycicle builds were stopped. I am at home today and didn't log into the office machine, so didn't notice until now. your pr is merged and I'm now running with that patch included
<simbergm>
jbjnr: okay, nice
<simbergm>
does that mean you run pycicle on your windows machine? not on ela or daint?
<jbjnr>
nothing was triggered, so I guess no prs were merged overnight
<simbergm>
no, I don't think so
<jbjnr>
I run pycicle on my windows machine in a bash shell, but it triggers builds on daint via the ssh mode
<simbergm>
yep, okay
<jbjnr>
I do it that way because my windows machine is 'always on'
<jbjnr>
could do it on a login node of daint/greina/other
<simbergm>
I will keep my debug instance running as well
<jbjnr>
ok
<simbergm>
I have a feeling we're killing scratch with pycicle, but at the moment there doesn't seem to be an alternative
<jbjnr>
well. I did ask about this kind of thing at the CI meeting we had, and they said - go for it - we have witnesses!
<jbjnr>
when we cause more problems, they will tell us
<jbjnr>
(like the srun issue that is outstanding)
<jbjnr>
back in 5
<simbergm>
yeah, I know, and they should just fix scratch and slurm and everything... but I still feel bad :/
<simbergm>
Anushi1998: I think autoindex is optional, and different from quickbook
<simbergm>
and I'
<simbergm>
I'm not sure quickbook is available in a system package (might be)
<Anushi1998>
I have checked it by ' where is quickbook'
<simbergm>
and does setting -DBOOSTQUICKBOOK_ROOT help?
<Anushi1998>
No quickbook wasn't correctly installed I guess
