<K-ballo> I see you tried windows ci on travis
<simbergm> yeah, it's been running a couple of months now on all prs
<K-ballo> oh so it works?!
<simbergm> yeah, definitely! it doesn't actually build and run the tests, but that's our (probably mine) and not travis'
<simbergm> builds start quickly
<simbergm> *our fault
<K-ballo> it doesn't as in it fails, or as in you are not instructing it to?
<simbergm> not instructing it to, because of target name shenanigans on windows
<zao> That hasn't been fixed yet, or does the build still insist on having the name clashes intentionally?
<simbergm> well, we don't make the names clash intentionally, just hasn't been fixed yet
<zao> I forgot what it was the last time, some pseudo-targets setting that the CMake build for some reason insisted on having?
<zao> Like, it worked if you frobbed the knob, but the group didn't want to for some reason I don't remember.
<K-ballo> which knob?
<zao> Don't remember, don't have any HPX builds on my machine.
<zao> And honestly, I stopped trying.

<K-ballo> simbergm: ugly pre cmake-3.12 object libraries can be wrapped in interface libraries, see https://github.com/grisumbras/object-libraries
<simbergm> K-ballo: oh nice, looks useful
<simbergm> I'm hoping we can just go to cmake 3.12 for the next release but maybe I'm just being too optimistic...
<simbergm> K-ballo: you don't like #pragma once?
<K-ballo> not worth the effort
