Hello everyone,I am new to OS and want to contribute for GSoC.Where should I start?Please somebody guide me.

hodor123456: hi there. Best place to start would be to look at the project on the wiki page from previous years https://github.com/STEllAR-GROUP/hpx/wiki/GSoC-2017-Project-Ideas and see if there's anything that you think is interesting and within your skill level. If not - make some thing up of your own initially. But then ghet familiar with the library. Building running tests, implementing simple test programs
<jbjnr>
if you're already quite capable, then ask more detailed questions about the gsoc projects etc

There is a step where a matrix is solved
<hkaiser>
so the parallel algorithms do very well for you
<diehlpk_work>
I have to run it again without blaze using hpx
<hkaiser>
diehlpk_work: if you don't use hpx with blaze the default blaze parallelization backend will get in the way with hpx
<hkaiser>
as those backends spawn their own threads
<diehlpk_work>
Ok, I see
<diehlpk_work>
The results looks very promising

heller, hkaiser: throttle test still sometimes hangs with the periodic priority queue scheduler because (I assume) it doesn't take into account suspended threads when rebalancing; is that scheduler something you'd like to keep around (in which case I'll fix it)?

aserio: sorry I missed the meeting, the time change through off my reminder. I asked before but do you know the page limit for that journal?
